Two Remmey Stoneware Jars, Philadelphia, PA origin, 19th century, a half-gallon, undecorated jar, stamped "R.C.R. / PHILA," circa 1880; paired with a one-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to Richard or Henry Harrison Remmey, circa 1865. Signed jar in excellent condition. Decorated jar with one rim chip, otherwise excellent condition.
