One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with three brushed cobalt flowers featuring fern-like blossoms. Tight horizontal line at base with short line descending from it, continuing 2 1/4" onto underside. In-the-firing chip near base. Small rim chip.
