One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with tooled shoulder and flared collar with rounded rim molding, decorated with a brushed cobalt flower extending across the front. Additional cobalt highlights flanking the spout. Tight surface lines in underside of pitcher. A 1 3/4" salt drip, a small in-the-firing chip, a tiny iron ping, and an additional minor salt drip, all at base of pitcher.
