Rustic Redware Umbrella Stand, American, possibly J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, late 19th century, in the form of a tree stump encompassed by a leafy vine with berries. Old polychrome-painted exterior. Later painted interior. A few painted-over rim chips. Large painted-over base flake, possibly in-the-making. Additional chips to edge on underside. H 21 1/2".
