Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "W.H. LEHEW & CO. / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1870, cylindircal jar with flattened rim and incised lines to body and shoulder, the shoulder decorated with three groups of inverted cobalt swags. 4 1/2" vertical line, extending 3/4" onto underside. Three shallow rim chips.
