Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitcher, Strasburg, VA origin, late 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied ribbed handle, decorated with splashed manganese and copper over a cream-colored ground. Surface with clear lead overglaze. Essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing dryness to spout, rim, handle, and base on reverse, as well as a stone ping in handle. H 7".
