One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Stephen B. Sweeney, Henrico County, VA, mid 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a stylized cobalt flower blossom. A few minor rim chips and some minor nicks to thin molding below rim. In-the-making, glazed-over dent at base. Small chip to edge on underside.
