One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf design. Chip on exterior of rim. Two chips on interior of rim. Several chips to both handles, as well as a line in one handle. Two salt drips. Base with a horizontal surface line and tiny flake.
