Two Northeastern U.S. Stoneware Crocks, second half 19th century, a four-gallon crock with large cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT; paired with a one-gallon crock with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.". Norton crock with some light water glass staining, a 5 1/2" crack from rim, and a short crack on underside, continuing several inches up reverse, as well as several meandering lines throughout reverse and side. Ellenville crock with staining and a tight 3 1/2" crack from rim.
