Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid 19th century, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with two cobalt tulips extending from a central stem. Shoulder with brushed cobalt "3" underscored by a wavy line. Salt drip to right side of front. Restoration to cracks in underside. Smooth 2" base chip. Two minor lines at base on front.
