Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M. TYLER & CO / ALBANY," New York State origin, circa 1835, ovoid jar with flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a curving tulip motif underscored by leafy brushwork. Several rim chips. Inverted 5" X-shaped surface line on reverse.
