Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, New York State origin, circa 1835, squat-shaped ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated front and back with an abstract brushed foliate design. Two short, minor surface lines at base. In-the-firing surface line on interior of rim. Small base chips. 2" loss to base.
