Pair of Three-Gallon Midwestern Stoneware Crocks, fourth quarter 19th century, both of cylindrical form with semi-rounded rims and applied lug handles, each decorated with a large slip-trailed “3” underscored by a “bee stinger”. Both with discoloration to surface. One with a salt drip to rim, the other with a minor Y-shaped line near base reverse.
