Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with sloped shoulder and tall collar, the interior with rim to hold a stoneware or wooden lid. A somewhat unusual form. Five small chips to exterior of rim. Some light wear to center of stenciling. H 10".
