Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and inner "wax sealer" rim, featuring Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling in a banner-like pattern. Large crack from rim. Other tight lines in jar sides and underside. Shallow chip and a few other very minor chips on interior of rim.
