One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar, Stenciled "JOHN P. EBERHART & CO. / NEW GENEVA. PA," circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with a stenciled foliate design at the midsection and a freehand "1 1/2" at base. Y-shaped crack on underside, extending onto base. Two rim chips and additional wear to rim. 2" chip at edge on underside.
