Glazed Redware Bowl with Manganese Decoration, Northeastern U.S., possibly Norwalk, CT., first half 19th century, with footed base, rounded sides, and flattened rim, the rim and interior decorated with splotches of manganese under a clear lead glaze. Two hairlines from rim, measuring 2 1/2" each. Chips and wear to rim. Glaze wear to interior. Minor chip to underside. H 4 1/2" ; Diameter 12 3/4".
