Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, circa 1870, semi-ovoid pitcher with tall collar and pronounced foot, decorated with a double-stemmed flowering plant on the front, leafy brushwork on the spout, and large circles at handle terminals. In-the-making wear to areas of decoration. Wear to glaze on interior. Otherwise excellent condition. Height 14".
