Rare Large-Sized Redware Flowerpot with Coggled Edge, Stamped "V. RUDOLPH," Shippensburg, PA, circa 1868-1888, tapered flowerpot with thick, rounded rim and attached saucer, the pot and saucer rim's embellished with heavy coggling. Pot and saucer decorated with daubs of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with Valentine Rudolph maker's mark on underside. Crack in base. A few base chips. Minor contact mark to edge of rim. Faint, tight vertical line in side of pot. H 8 1/2".
