Glazed Redware Pitcher, Pennsylvania origin, second half 19th century, one-gallon ovoid pitcher with ovoid midsection and incised banding, the surface decorated with heavy manganese spattering over a dark orange ground. Excellent condition. Small base chip on reverse. Minor wear to handle. Shallow 1" chip to right side of spout. H 10".
