Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1870, a one-and-a-half-gallon jar with unusual fern-like floral motif, paired with a half-gallon Baltimore stoneware jar with leaf decoration. Larger jar with several cracks at base, one of which extends a long distance up body of jar, as well as short hairlines in rim. Smaller jar with cracks and small rim chips.
