Two-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO / Williamsport, Pa.," circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with two flower extending from a leafy stem. Rim chips. Heavy chipping to one handle. Some hairlines to surface, including a 3" X-shaped hairline to right of decoration. Cracks in underside, extending vertically from base of jar. Some light fry to cobalt and very light exfoliation to left side of jar's front. Stone ping under one handle.
