Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "MOYER. HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1858, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with two heavily-brushed tulips extending from a central stem. A rare survivor with an in-the-firing slump to neck. X-shaped crack on underside, extending a short distance onto base in two places, and also extending 10 1/2" up side of jug in the form of a wide jagged crack.
