Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Maulden Perine, Baltimore, MD, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and tooled rim, decorated with a two-stemmed floral motif bearing four tulips. Sides of pitcher, collar, and spout, decorated with brushed cobalt swags. Contact mark to front, near base. Small rim chip on reverse.
