Rare Double-Sided Stoneware Water Cooler with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia origin, circa 1835, approximately five-gallon, cylindrical cooler with tapered shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, featuring a circular bung hole on two sides. Surface decorated with large tulip plant designs extending from the bung hole. Additional tulip designs extending up from base under each handle. Both bung holes restored. Restored rim chip.
