Two Spongeware Cuspidors, American, late 19th century, both of ovoid form with flared rim, both decorated with cobalt sponging, one with additional cobalt bands. One with hairlines from rim and a yellow drip on interior of rim. Other with small rim chip. H (of banded example) 5" ; Diameter (of banded example) 7 1/2".
