Three Manganese-Glazed Redware Jars, American, early 19th century, all of similar cylindrical form with rounded rims, their surfaces covered in a blackish lead-and-manganese glaze. Largest jar with a tight hairline to underside, extending onto base, and wear to rim and shoulder. Medium-sized jar in excellent condition. Smallest jar with base chips and wear to shoulder and rim. H (of tallest jar) 12".
