Glazed Redware Pitcher with Lid, New England origin, early 19th century, thin-walled ovoid pitcher with foot, heavily-tooled shoulder, and semi-squared rim. Sides decorated with splashed manganese over an orange ground. Glazed redware lid fits pitcher, but may not be original to this piece. Visually-appealing form. Excellent condition with light glaze wear to rim and left side of spout. Lid in excellent condition. H (excluding lid) 6 1/2".
