Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BROS. & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of two crested birds perched on a tree branch. Restoration to flakes to right of decoration and a few restored spots to left of decoration, not touching decoration. Exfoliation to underside. Chips to underside at edge of crock. Salt drips to surface on side and reverse of crock. Minor chip to interior of rim.
