One-Gallon Lidded Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CORTLAND," NY State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed flower blossom design accented with curved trails within the petals. Includes damaged salt-glazed stoneware lid. Jar in excellent condition with some typical wear and shallow chipping to inner molding where a lid would rest.
