Six-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Huntingdon Co., PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tall collar and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a large flowering vine design. Brushed cobalt "6" under each handle. Large Y-shaped crack descending down front, onto underside, and up reverse side of jar at base. A few rim chips.
