Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Huntingdon County, PA origin, possibly E.B. Hyssong, Cassville, PA, circa 1850, ovoid pitcher with heavily-tooled rim, decorated with a flowering vine around the body bearing two styles of tulips. Collar decorated with horizontal swags. Spout decorated with vertical swags flanking a wavy cobalt flourish. Crude repair to spout and handle. Significant cracks throughout, primarily on sides and reverse. H 12 1/2".
