One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, probably Rockingham County, VA, circa 1860-1880, ovoid jar with tall flaring rim and applied tab handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip on the front and back. Crack extending from rim onto underside and partway up other side of jar. Several rim chips. Damage to one handle. Salt glob on one side.
