Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, baluster-form jar with rounded foot, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated with a large tulip on the front and back, a wavy cobalt stripe extending from handle to handle, and scalloped cobalt stripes under each handle. A few rim chips, a handle chip, and a faint, minor line on underside.
