One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, John and James Miller, Strasburg, VA, circa 1835, ovoid jar with rounded rim and tab handles, decorated with two different swag motifs on the front and back. Two in-the-firing chips to one side, and one in-the-firing chip to reverse. Small contact mark to rim. Chipping to handles.
