Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Keg Cooler, NY State origin, circa 1875, ovoid keg with circular bung hole, decorated with incised and cobalt-highlighted bands, the front featuring a large slip-trailed foliate design. Small salt drip and minor in-the-firing chip to side at base. 7" V-shaped crack from rim. Two small rim chips. Glazed-over chip to exterior of bung hole. Minor chip to interior of bung hole.
