Unusual One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Flowering Urn Decoration, Stamped "SOMERSET, / POTTERS WORKS," MA origin, circa 1860, squat-shaped, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, decorated with two large cobalt flowers extending from an urn. Three filled rim chips. 2 1/2" hairline from rim. Small stone ping to right of decoration. H 8".
