Rare Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, tapered pot with squared rim, tooled shoulder, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and back with two large cobalt clovers, and under each handle with cobalt stripe. Unusual form and size. Rim chips. Heavy chipping to one handle. A faint, minor hairline at base. H 14 1/4" ; Diam. (at opening) 14 1/2".
