Scarce One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "HAVENS," Zanesville, Ohio, origin, circa 1860, with ovoid pitcher with flared collar, decorated with brushed cobalt stripes along the spout, flanking the maker's mark, and along the handle, as well as brushed cobalt circles on the sides of the collar. 4 1/2" crack on front, continuing onto underside, and 6" up reverse. A few base chips. Some dryness to surface.
