Glazed Redware Harvest Jug, New England origin, mid 19th century, ovoid form with flattened top, heavily-tooled shoulder, applied tubular spout, and ribbed handle, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a colorful green and orange ground. Excellent form and color. Heavy chipping to base. 5/8" stone pop to reverse. Two small chips and light wear to spout. Light wear to handle. H 11 1/2".
