Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO.," New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a spiraling floral design accented with spots. Small chip to one handle. Two small chips to opposite handle. Some staining to side and reverse. Fry to cobalt. Three flakes to base on reverse. One flake under one handle. H 10 3/4".
