Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stamped "SEYMOUR & BOSWORTH / HARTFORD, CT," circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design accented with dotted trails. Excellent condition with a 2" in-the-firing line at base on side of churn, minor nicks on interior of rim, and an in-the-firing separation line at end of one handle. Expected wear to ledge on interior of rim. H 16 3/8".
