Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Stenciled Eagle Decoration, attributed to F.T. Wright & Son, Taunton, MA, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large and detailed stenciled design of a spread-winged eagle holding olive branches and arrows in its talons. Small stone ping above eagle. Base chip on reverse. A few tiny nicks on bottom edge. Small chips to interior of rim. A few shallow chips on top of rim. H 10 1/4".
