Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration, Stamped "C. CROLIUS / MANUFACTURER / NEW-YORK," Clarkson Crolius, Jr., circa 1830, two-gallon jug with heavily-tooled spout and ribbed hande, decorated with cobalt scalloped circle design around the maker's mark. Heavy chipping to spout. Some in-the-firing separation at base of handle. Base chips. Some stone pings to surface. H 14 1/2".
