Three-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Churn, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th century, ovoid form with flared rim and two open handles, the surface covered in a dark brown Albany slip type glaze. Incised "3" on shoulder. Rim chips. Two chips and a hairline to one handle. H 14 1/2".
