Five-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "CONNOLLY & PALMER / NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large stylized floral design accented with dotted trails. Impressed with Connolly & Palmer maker's mark on reverse. Restored crack extending through left side of decoration. Some restoration to reverse. Large marker inscription on underside. H 11 3/4".
