Two Cobalt-Banded Stoneware Mugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, mid to late 19th century, one of semi-ovoid form with incised and cobalt-highlighted bands, the other of cylindrical form with similar decoration. Cylindrical mug with two horizontal hairlines in handle, two short hairlines from rim, and small rim chips. Taller mug with small stone ping to midsection. H (of smaller mug) 4 1/4".
