One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and tooled collar, decorated with a two-stemmed cobalt tulip design with additional swags between the flowers. Collar decorated with leafy brushwork. Restored top-to-bottom crack to right of decoration. 2" hairline from rim. Hairline at base of handle. Several stone pings to surface. Spout chip. H 10 3/4".
