Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, 19th century, highly-ovoid jar with rounded foot, tab handles, and unusually-tall flaring collar, the surface decorated with daubs of manganese under a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Recently found in New England. Shallow chip and wear to one handle. Two shallow chips and heavy wear to edge of opposite handle. Heavy glaze wear to rim. Small chip to base of collar. Light surface wear to midsection. H 7".
