Open-Handled Redware Jar with Copper Glaze, American or European, 19th century, finely-potted vase-like form with ovoid midsection, tooled shoulder and narrow opening. Shoulder fitted with two ribbed open handles. Surface covered in a brilliant green lead and copper glaze applied over yellowish clay. Provenance: Recently found in New England. Mint condition. H 8 1/2".
